That's exit 145!!!!!
Running very low on hours this morning, and finding out the truckstop that I was looking for wasn't where it said it would be, I stopped here as a last resort. Well, that's the last time it will be a " last resort". It's now on my favorites list. It's an off brand, neat little gift shop and well stocked C-Store. Very clean, he restaurant is an old style place, good food and GREAT prices. The wait staff are very nice ladies, very sweet and make you feel welcomed. For you Western nuts out there, there is more than enough cowboy stuff on the walls to make you happy. Nice showers as well, only $8 if you don't fuel. This is for sure on the list of places to stop, very pleasant experience from the time I walked in to the time I left. Well worth the stop. Exit 145 off of I-44, Richland, Missouri.
Sinclair/Oasis/ AmBest, I-44, exit 144 Missouri

That's the place! I Like it here. Everyone is so pleasant and the restaurant is packed with locals, always a good sign of good food.

Thanks, I wanted to make sure we had it in our POI for truck stops... And we do!!

Great little place lots of parking. The seating in the cafe reminds me of the old Arrowhead in Pendleton, Oregon.

I like the oasis there myself, good stop.

Been there several times and really like the place but one time really sticks out in my mind. Had a load on bound for Oklahoma City and felt the flu coming on. Got as far as the Oasis and proceeded to be sicker than I ever want to be again, ever. After a very volatile night of throwing up, fever, chills you name it, I took my sheets and pillow cases, clothes, blankets in to be washed. At 500 in the morning the lady at the front register says I look miserable and asked what was up. Told her I was going to wash everything and needed a shower. Not only did she give me a shower, she offered to watch my laundry for me. Sick as I felt I thanked her and took her up on her offer. Showered, went back to the truck and fell asleep. First good sleep I'd gotten that night. Slept maybe 3 hours, came in and not only had she monitered my laundry she folded it as well. I tried to give her something for her troubles bur she would not hear of it. Next time through I stopped and gave her a small handmade box that I made specifically for her.
That was above and beyond.
Excellent place.

The Midwest Petroleum up the road isn't bad either. That parking lot is huge.
