Hey all,
Just wanted to let you know that the Flying J/Pilot in Elkton, MD is again undergoing changes as Parent Company Highway Service Ventures has sold to Pilot the Elkton and Ruther Glen, VA locations, and the Florence, SC stop back to Petro. Pilot Plans to change everything about the Truck Stop including changing Restaraunt to a Denny's and other things. The Shop in the back is being Converted over to Bosselmans Boss shops, and I along with a few others were not hired back. Understand its a business decision, but still sucks being out of a job in this economy. Just figured I would pass the Information on to ya'll. Stay Safe.

Maybe you can become a trucker. Sorry, you lost your job; you guys did a fine job for us.
scottied67, TRKRSHONEY and 48Packard Thank this. -
Hope you find a new job soon, hopefully you are in a better area for jobs. Have you tried any state jobs for mechanics, that is if that was what you were doing.
scottied67 Thanks this. -
So much for those Patriot Farm restaurants. One if the few truck stop restaurants that i liked.
48Packard and TRKRSHONEY Thank this. -
That's what they do to every Flying J.

I use to think Denny's had fairly good food before they moved into t/s, not sure now though with so many complaining about the quality, guess that is everywhere though.

I have only stopped there once, but one thing that I must say is that the pizza there is the best of the pizza offered at any flying J/Pilot. Unsure if that has anything to do with the patriot farms or not, but it was noteworthy to me. I hope that they will add more lighting to the parking lot though, kind of dark in spots.
