Head on a swivel and walk like you could be someone they do not want to mess with, just with confidence. I look people in the eye and never act ####y but confident.

Stand normal but when approached look them in eyes, say no thanks and keep walking and do not stop.

Them last guys I got to study them that time. Each one was well dressed and they all had nice cars. They kind of reminded me like they all had office jobs and this was just a supplement gig between them. But then again it might be a career. They were all in the 40's the last ones I seen.

I don't think they would harm anyone. Their goal is to get out of dodge if there is a confrontation and go to the next place. Back when I was 35 I wasn't scared of anyone. Now I'm too old and crippled! :)

    But aw-ron's ^^^ advice is correct. :)

Once in Salt Lake City at the Sapps these guys showed up trying to give away $100 dollar bills the guy allegedly won at the casino. I had my truck in the shop for some maintenance there and was walking my dog. I used that as my excuse to get away, went back to the shop waiting lounge, on the way saw that the cops were already on site. So I saw the 3 core guys come into the lounge as well then go right through the shop work bays which tells me the shop guys were complicit. So I told the girl behind the counter about these guys giving away $100 bucks, she smiled and asked if I had gotten mine. I whipped out 3 $100 dollar bills and showed her (this was my money) and she went ghost white lol.

But ya you have to watch out for these guys, they offer you some money then guilt trip you to play their game and 'give them a chance to win their money back'.

Twice now in Columbus area trucks tops ive got a knock on the window and some guy telling me I need to check out what "Swift" or "Schneider" did. They always point to the area behind my trailer and there is always a couple other guys back there.

too fishy for me, I tell em to piss off. It's none of my business.

This is the reason why Interstate Commerce employees like us should be allowed to have a federal firearms carry permit, to allow us to carry in all states while on business.

I've seen this BS at the Route 66 Casino Truck Stop in ABQ, NM parking lot. Woke up to a whole group of idiots playing 3 card monty in front of my truck. Grabbed a club and walked over to the casino told security. Indian Reservation doesnt want that BS at their casino, if anyone is gonna lose money its going to be to them. Had a similar story to the OP's. They scattered in every direction when called out.
