And I've seen a Weatherford local pd cruiser running through the parking lot. Odd because I've never seen them cruise through here before, seems pretty quiet for the most part every time I've parked here.

Not tonight, hotdogs from my lunchbox warmer tonight. Besides, I ate a kick ### bbq turkey leg from the back of a mobile smoker when I was waiting to load at Coca-Cola in Dallas today. That was my eating out for the day.

I relayed today with one of our local drivers over at the Flying J in Tye, TX, he gave me a load of furniture with 2 drops in Virginia and he took my load of Coke back to El Paso. I run the 30-40-81 corridor all the time so this one is easy money. I would have taken the Coke load to our yard and gotten another run out in the morning anyways since it doesn't deliver at Coke until Monday and the local drivers handle the local live unloads in El Paso. But this Virginia load needed to leave El Paso today to make it on time and they didn't have any road drivers available to take it all the way, so they had him drive it out and meet me at the J. I would have stopped here in Weatherford anyways tonight so it didn't cost me any time or distance really.

Every once in a while one or our local drivers has to actually fill out a logsheet instead of a time sheet to take a load beyond the 100 mile exemption area and see how the other half lives, lol.

I live an hour away from Weatherford. It is a pretty quite area but you do have those troublemakers who'd be willing to break into a truck or two. I bet the PD was just making their presence known.
