I have used cleaner outhouses than the crappers in all those dives

I will stop a JJ's at exit 106 I-30 when I go thru AR, that is about it. All of the joints from W Memphis to Little Rock are either dumps or so busy you can't move in them. I feared for my health just stopping to eliminate some coffee at Sweet PEE's in Wheatley...

The Southfork truckstop in Gurdon at exit 63 isn't bad. Love the gigantic parking lot.

We used to trash around at the old truck stop at the 44 years ago. Stopped there the other day for the nostalgia of it. I never been to a crack house but that seemed what one might be like

I've stayed at 2 or 3 long-abandoned places less run down than Sweet Pea's.

If you're running hwy 14 east off of Hwy 67(exit 80) from Newport, about 6 miles heading to Hwys 63/49/1 in a little town called Amagon, there's a little roach coach a lady has set up that makes good BBQ sandwich/BBQ plate along with about everything she makes, even has her # posted out front you can call and order before you get there if you run by there alot. Room for alot of trucks to park in the old Dot's Kitchen parking lot, or old Lawhon Farm Services building across the street. In the mornings she makes a great fried bologna, egg and cheese sandwich , and she even has good hot tamales :biggrin_255:
