I have stopped there a few times, now every mega will be tieing up the spots. Restaurant sucked, but had the coolest sign ever, stating a law of one hour buffet time.

I like this sign...
-
But condo, this is the sign inside of the brintle truck stop. I took it a few years back.
-
I never get there, closest I get is the Big Apple and Baltimore
The corporation has taken over 3 in MN, now. 2 are Pilots, one at Inver Grove Heights, across from the Flint Hills refinery south of the Twin Cities, made the poor restaurant into an attached Subway and the one at Austin, with an in house restaurant called Watt's Cooking.
They turned the shop into showers downstairs in that one. Still remodeling the c-store with but also still Ronnoco coffee. This one is something different from everything else. I liked the place before, but will have to see if it keeps it's uniqueness.
The Flying J is at exit 69 I 35 south of the I35 split at Northfield, that one was The Big Steer Truck Stop and they rebuilt that and kept the restaurant along with adding a Subway, different for a J.
Albert Lea still has The Trails TA, now a Petro, with Iron Skillet/Trails restaurant, and a Loves with Wendy's (no Subway) across from that, it doesn't look like PFJ is going to enter that locale anytime soon. -
the little things that made stopping at a mom & pop cool, are disappearing gradually.062 Thanks this. -

oh yeah, I'll support mom & pops all I can.
-
Makes me appreciate staying in-state and sleeping in my own bed 98% of the time. Still have one small mom&pop place that has truck parking.NOT a fan of the last 20 years of trucking changes and hope I never go OTR again.
