so here i sit doing a 34 reset, and i have a truck parked in front of me which is fine, i am bobtailed and sat myself in the back of the parking spot so another bobtail could come in and sit in front of me. no big deal. but the two crst trucks that came here together are sitting both parked in separate parking spots and theyre bobtailed...cmon guys dont take up two spots when your bobtailed!

When I bobtail to a TS I always try to find a spot that's too small for a trailer like one of the spaces that has a light pole in it. That way I don't take up a spot that full truck and trailer could fit into. I know you are there for a 34 so prob don't plan on moving but letting another bobtail in front of you may have you stuck if you need to leave and he/she is not in the their truck.

Their company doesn't care so why should they? they do that all of the time, They don't think a guy running late may need a spot that the two of them could have saved them, They now think that if they fire up and fix it they will be put back in service and mess up there books!.

well i do have an out, and that is once im on the last few hours i usually move elsewhere and because the new 34 hr rule is two 1-5's i can park in the 4-wheeler area and get away with it. and i still ask the fuel desk ppl if thats ok and they usually say ya its fine.

Being bobtail is very cool sometimes. Perfect excuse to park almost anywhere else other than a truck stop. So nice to find a little hidey hole that is perfectly quiet all night. Maybe find a casino, a mall or a fast food joint off the main trucking route. A big pet peeve for me is guys who park their bobtail right in a trailer parking spot.

Especially when half of them have terminals right down the street.

Bobtail always meant that I didn't have to park at a truck stop. You could actually feel like a real person and nobody ever said a thing.

i would say youre right cuz lancaster is right down the street, however...the showers are nasty the place is packed and half of the trucks that are there are broken...and there at least 50 of them. and besides that the staff are rude so im parking here at loves.
