Drivers, I've been solo now about a month and have been fueling primarily at Pilot and Flying J locations. I always use my rewards card. How ever, after going to take a shower and being told I didn't have shower credits, I discovered on the kiosk that Pilot/Flying J has no record of me fueling at some of my fuel stops.

From now on, always get a receipt and make note of where you get fuel and how much you put in. I don't know if this is a wide spread problem, but I'm seeing at least TWO fuel stops missing and unfortunately, their kiosk does not go back far enough for fuel receipts to let me know how many other times I have been jipped. I just called their customer service number and asked them if they could give me credit by looking up on my Com Data card, and they told me they could not.

When I get fuel, you put your Com Data card in, then it says insert your rewards card and I do. NEVER, has it said the card was not accepted or re-swipe. I'm struggling as it is making .25 cents a mile starting out. All these points and shower credits add up.

I'm sure most of you recall their fuel rebate scam they got busted on, but this really makes me wonder about them.

I keep the receipts just in case.
I assume your fills were over the 50 gallon threshold?

I just love their 'loyalty' - after the fuel scam, as you said.

Instead of wasting time on the forum, it seems to me that a phone call to Pilot on this would be the best move to make. You have the fuel receipts and should figure from the first one that you have a problem. It prints the info on the bottom. If it did not, then you should have known this sooner.

    Their phone number is 1-800-562-6210

Perhaps if you read my post, you would have noticed I already called Pilot and they could not help me. I just got off the phone with Com Data and got my fueling locations. NO, I don't have the fuel receipts or I wouldn't have to back track and make these phone calls. What sense would it make if I had the fuel receipts and I didn't know where I fueled? My company does NOT require fuel receipts, so I don't get them as they would be of no use to me. Since you never read my message, I have been driving about a month. I don't have photographic memory and remember how many points should be on my card. This is something I just picked up on.

Your post is simply counter productive and you seem to just want to be an antagonist. This was a notice to drivers to be careful when they get fuel to make sure they are getting the points. I've solved this mystery with out any of your help. Thanks.

Great post. THis is not about free coffee, this is about points and a $12.00 shower credit. Way to sensationalize.

It is not meant to be counter productive.

I review my receipts before I leave. It is also a problem when drivers do not even get the receipts. Just passing on.

I worked for a company that we were barely able to get the showers. They did not allow any points.

For about 5 years now, I have fueled at Loves. I have recently changed jobs in July & I drive for a company that recycles plastic. They buy & sell plastic buy the pound so we use truck scales daily on both empty & full weights.

I said that to say this. We do not have a Loves near my home town so, for local drops & pickups, I have to use the local Pilot. Since Loves gives me 10 points for using the scales, I assumed Pilot did too so I got a driver rewards card from Pilot. Nope, no points for using scales. There ya go.......

FWIW, I dont fuel at Pilot because I plan my trips to fuel at Loves when going east or west. By buying all I can at Loves, I usually stay in Platinum & that gives me 3 times the points for each Gallon. That adds up pretty fast.

Pilot over the years just has not impressed me.

I would like to fuel at Loves, but I have to fuel where I'm told.

One thing I just thought of.

Is your frequent fueler card registered?

I have mine registered for pump start. This allows the card to start the pump, before the payment is put in. Not had a problem since then.

I hope that is not antagonistic for you.
