I broke down last Wednesday here in PA. My truck will not start. Was towed to the Fyda here in Barkeysville. Today is Tuesday and theyre closing for the day and still dont know for sure what is wrong. They never touched my truck the first time until yesterday afternoon after being told Friday that it should be done Monday. The problem is simple, my service manager thinks it is a shift module? About a 30 min fix he says. I was told this morning that the starter solenoid was out and hewas gonna get a tech on it after lunch. Walked back over right before close and now he says theyre still troubleshooting the problem. All this time the truck is parked where the tow truck left it and hasnt been inside the gagrage. Im in the motel next door and I havent seen anyone around it. Theyre putting people ahead of me and dont seem to care. If they would just get someone on the job to stay on it I would probably be fixed and rolling in a few hours. I hope no one ever uses this place unless you want to be lied to and lose weeks of pay

The Freightliner shop in Abilene pulled that same #### with my old boss. Like I can't see from their lounge that they aren't working on it.

Truck finally made it inside the building about 4:30 minutes before they closed today. Was told at 10 AM they would have it in in a "few minutes" Still troubleshooting after they knew what the problem was Monday and was gonna have me done right after lunch.

Or they try to nail you for 5 hours labor, when it only took 2. My latest experience.

Sounds like every one of freightliners dealerships I have ever been to .
Now I will be towed to any shop but a freightliner shop even if it means a higher tow bill .

It seems to me like they know they don't have to have good service because all of the mega companies seem to keep them in business .
