Green shingle truck stop, Fairview PA. Had a great restaurant, showers, nice place to shut down at before heading into upstate ny. Got bought out and ruined by Dixie truckers home.

There's a really old school truckstop at the 115 exit on I 25 in New Mexico. Santa Fe Truckstop and Diner. Dates back to when US85 was the main route between El Paso and Albuquerque.

Someone mentioned the All-American in Carlisle, PA in another thread as a great place to hang out, so true. All these so-called truckstops like Pilot with just a fast food outlet suck. But then in these days of increased productivity the layovers of days past don't really happen anymore either. At least they don't for my company anyway. -
