Subway sucks, two things they are usually not familiar with, one is putting meat on sandwiches, the other is speaking English. I got a meatball sub from them one time, three meatballs in a #### brown sauce from one pan, and three meatballs in a bright red sauce from another pan. I asked the guy making it did he really expect m to eat that, looked confused and continued making it. I told him just give me my money back and I'm out of here, then he just threw it in the trash and made me a sub with fresh meatballs and red marinara , not the brown stuff.

Is it me or do you continue to still eat there after the fact? The way I see it is you have two options. Stop eating Subway, or stop complaining. Maybe you should start making your own subs from the grocery store. Then you can use as many toppings as you like...Welcome to Corporate America!

When I discovered their chopped salad, it became my #1 choice above the skimpy subs... but I still have to tell the Subway girl "add lots of everything" a few times but it generally results in one hearty dinner. Plus, if you double the meat (love to dbl buffalo ckn) it still comes in under $8. Can't do that every night, but it's a nice treat once in awhile.

They have recently been asking me "would you like to double your meat" "would you like to double the bacon" and "would you like to double the cheese" I always say not because I am assuming there is a decent up charge. They add less of the good stuff and expect you to cough up extra $ to get a reasonable amount. I ate there alot this past January because of the 5 dollar foot longs bit have scaled back alot since then. Getting way to expensive

With my current low budget, yes but sadly so. :biggrin_2552: It has been too long since I've had a nice steak dinner.

You do know subway is getting sued by some guys for advertising "foot long " sandwiches, but on average 11" long! This may not sound like much , but you add it up over the millions of subs they sell and it adds up !

You have to tell subway to double the meat and/or cheese otherwise all you're going to taste is the veggies, mainly the lettuce.Every place has cut down on the quantity and sometimes the quality as well and you're paying triple of what you use to pay.Really sad how greedy America has become,For extra sauces like ketchup you're being charged now.I know the DQ charges.I stopped at long john silvers the other day and was really dissappointed in what little I got for the price and it wasn't all that great either.
