I've heard that too but in the event I'm out there long where I need to get DEF(not often) I fill up 2 21/2 gallon jugs I have already used having filled at the Shop before I've left. Dunno how that works but have only had problems filling them once.

Company sent out a missive over the Qualcomm last summer that stated in no uncertain terms that we were NOT to refill DEF jugs. Apparently the stuff crystallizes as it dries out in an empty jug which then goes into the tank when the refilled jug is used and subsequently clogs the DEF lines. I suppose you could empty the jug and then immediately refill, but I'll just keep coming in from the wrong direction at oddball hours and dispense with that hassle, thank you very much.

Haven't read the whole thread, but I can tell you right now PFJ ain't gonna put an "attendant" in the parking lot any time soon. They think they can permanently run a minimum wage skeleton crew and steadily cut hours. So what you saw is basically a best-case-scenario. Management doesn't get too concerned unless there's feces on the sales floor, the restroom floor doesn't register on their radar.

Do you really think the driver that is blocking you at the fuel island cares if he is paged to move his truck? Nope. He's going to finish shower or finish eating before he or she moves.

It's our own fault. Since bottom of the barrel new "drivers" cant find no better, this new generation of inconsiderate peeps are what the future was for the 70s, 80s and 90s drivers. Heck it does not get any better but it gets worse. 2002+/- and on the truck parking areas and truck stops are filled with scammers, pee bottles, pee smell, garbage, and inconsiderate morons trying to cut you off as you're "gently" trying to park your rig or get in/out of the area..
Our education has diminished greatly and is not getting better.. shame on us
