Blake's LottaBurger in Moriarty, Nm... old fashioned ice cream shakes, fresh cut French fries and really good burgers and chicken fried steak sandwiches.......

A "Big C" burger from Clyde's Drive Inn in St. Ignace, Michigan. I'm a big guy and I have a hard time eating a whole Big C by myself. Plus they use fresh beef and make everything to order.

If you're ever lucky enough to pull a load to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan I highly recommend stopping here. Just north of the Mackinaw Bridge on I-75 turn west on U.S. 2 and it's about a quarter mile down on the north side of the road. Small truck stop just down the street too.

When it comes to burgers, which I truly love, I believe less is more.Just a basic piece of seasoned meat between 2 pieces of bread. I do not crave a foot tall burger, loaded with hot chiles, fried eggs, egg plant, etc. I prefer a true burger with just some basic condiments on it. Perhaps just mayo and pickles, or maybe mustard only. Sometimes I live dangerously and add a slice of tomato.
My favorite big chain style burger comes from Steak & Shake. 5 Guys is a close second. As far as fries, the greasier the better.
Often the best burgers are found at little Mom & Pop eating joints. I know all the close ones.
I detest McDonalds. Burger King is only slightly better.
jimmy Buffet had it right.Cheeseburger / paradise. Come to think of, I did not really care for the burgers served in his places.
