Don't ever come here and think you're going to find a parking spot in this toilet with 8-10 spots filled with conex boxes and trailers the fracking companies leave here as part of their personal parking lot in a "truck stop" with 90 spots.
The Petro at exit 6 on I70 in PA has closed, a fact which neither I nor apparently a bunch of other people knew when we decided to push into this area of PA to spend the night.
I ended up in a no parking area forward of the fuel fills in the entrance way and I knew when I went to sleep I was going to have to move.
Sure enough, at 2 AM, the fuel guy knocked on the door and asked me if I could move up a few feet.
Sure. Nice guy. Knew I was screwed.
At 4 AM there was another knock on the door and I was then informed that I would have to move out of the area IN A VERY RUDE FASHION by one of the women from the store who told me she would call the cops on me.
Thats pilot customer service for you. Get treated like dog crap by somebody who pays their bills off of our backs.
I'll never stay here again. I'll never fuel here again.
I knew the deal when I came in, but I was out of hours and I'm a CUSTOMER.
you can make me move, but you could at least be nice about it instead of being an #####$&@££!~!*!

Hey pete1, would you like some cheese & crackers with that whine? I'm surprised a veteran like you didn't plan your trip a little better so as to avoid running out of hours like that in a questionable area... but I'll bet it was indeed a learning experience for you.
drvrtech77 Thanks this. -
Go dump some Quikrite cement powder in their toilets and urinals.
TruckDuo Thanks this. -
The staff at the truck stop were just doing their jobs, just like you. I would have been mad too but you knew when you parked an early wake up call was likely to happen. -
I have a mental list of truck stops to avoid - and it grows week by week.
They're all turning into "fuel and go" places. -
EggoTrucker and Western flyer Thank this.

in no way am I defending those fuel stops in se. pa. but everyone knows that area is a hot spot for gas fracking. been like that for the last few years. limited places to park. plan your stops accordingly next time.
Moving Forward Thanks this. -
Learned not to stay there my 1st week out on my own. Got there about 7 on on a week night grabbed the last spot (wasn't really a spot made an extra 1 at the end of a row LOL) when I woke up u could barley drive thru the place. I guess I wasn't the only 1 who screwed up that night LOL

FYI, there's a Get Go at PA I-70 exit 46A that has room for a half dozen trucks in back. I park there when visiting my parents. (And their food is pretty good, too!) They're open 24/7.
One thing I do ask (and this is a good idea whenever you park at a place like this)... PLEASE buy something from the store where you're parking, even if it's just your morning coffee! These stores are here to make money, and they put up with us as long as it's to their advantage to do so.TruckDuo Thanks this.
