Interesting name for a truck stop.

Decent restaurant & comfy driver's lounge -- spent a few days there while my former truck was at the dealership across the street.

 

One of the better truck stops. I haven't been in there in a while but the food was always good.

 

Pretty sure I've been there. Food was good iirc.

 

I grew up in Idaho Falls, and went to school with some of the family that owns DADs . It is owned by the family that created/ owns Doug Andrus Distributing. They haul grain, hay, and refers. They also have their hands in the Peterbilt dealer, and the truck wash.
The kids, when they built the truck stop was looking for a name for it, and decided to name it after their dad. As a way to honor his commitiment to hard work.

 

Haven't been there in quite a few years, but it was a twice-weekly stop once-upon-a-time. They had very nice showers and good food.

 

I googled Dad's,pretty nice looken travel plaza.

 

Makes me want to go just hearing you alls reviews. If I get through there I will give it a try
