I've seen a Pilot near the home base in Knoxville with self check-out. Of course, it wasn't working properly, so I ended up dealing with a live person.
Customer service is wildly inconsistent in truck stops. Doesn't seem to matter which company. Some are tolerable, some not so much.
Why does Pilot/Flying J do this?
