Show how is the 2014 Drivers Apprecations week treating you

I kept on getting messages for cookouts at the terminals, none of which I was anywhere near....

 

I had chicken at one terminal on Monday, hamburgers and hotdogs at another on Tuesday, and missed out Wednesday, Thursday and Friday because they are actually making me work. I actually could have eaten lunch Thursday as I was at a terminal, but I was asleep.

 

The Pilot in Mt Vernon, IL gave out a soda and small bag of chips on Thursday.

 

Ny company gave us all qualcomm messages saying "thank you for what you do, we appreciate it"

 

Stopped by yard to drop paperwork and they had bbq pulled pork gave me a hat a blue beacon certificate and a beanie. Had atlas's but done got mine own.

 

On top of the other stuff I got earlier in the week I was given a $25 gift card good at either Red Lobster, Olive Garden or Longhorn. Can't complain.

 

Got a cookie at the Walmart DC in Red Bluff. I was just happy to be out in less than 2 hours & without a lumper fee...

 

Heard Wal-Mart drivers got new Lexus's.

I'm with Joe, I just wanna work and get paid. More the company leaves me alone, the happier I am.

I had no idea that trucking is 24/7/365.when did the transition take place and where was i located when it happened?

Sarcasm aside,I disagree. we drive because we desire to do so,NOT for the thanks that is rarely,if ever,given.I would much prefer that others thank us by sharing the road and driving accordingly while in our immediate vicinity.

I would also appreciate the women,no matter how they look,showing us more leg by being a flirt and raising that skirt or lowering that shirt while knowingly driving beside us for just the above reasons.

 

mercer paid me within 2 hours of delivery , and they always pay quickly and never make a mistake on pay, all the thanks I need.

but really they sent out a thing where we can order a shirt of our choice at the company store for free
