Where i fuel they have a sign up at the pump that reads "Pull forward after fueling", but half they guys I see probably can't read English-these are the same knuckleheads that pull into the scale when the sign says "Scale Closed" DO NOT ENTER!!

When you fuel at a pilot or j and are " eligible for fuel and go, no receipt required." It also says " please pull forward". It should say "go park in the lot before you get food or shower" but it doesn't.

Fueling at the TA in Corning CA today, the truck @ the pump next to me was idling when I pulled in with no driver in sight. I fueled, pulled ahead & went inside to take care of business. When I got back to the truck I pulled in to a parking spot sat there & did paperwork for a while before I decided to walk over to the taco truck. As I was walking through the fuel island to get there, the guy driving the truck that had been next to me finally showed up. He had walked over to the taco truck & gotten a burrito. It was about 20 minutes after I had pulled in.

He was wearing flip-flops & I will let you guess his ethnicity.

We don't care about his ethnicity. Any driver, no matter the ethnicity, can be guilty of this. Just as any driver, no matter the ethnicity, can be more respectful of other drivers. It has nothing to do with ethnicity, so don't even think about going there.

I personally don't like the idea of drivers wearing flop flops and shorts while driving. I'm old school so I guess that's where I get that from. For me...the drivers seat is my work, sleeper is for relaxing. Just my opinion.

I don't like it either. I think it shows a lack of professionalism. The very least one could do is wear a uniform and boots.

We see this everyday. We've all seen drivers pull into the fuel island and go inside for 15 minutes and never fuel. Take breaks in the island. Go in for showers while parked in the island. Personally, I've had enough of it. I've started asking the drivers why they do what they do. If they work for a major company, I've started calling the company they work for. It's ridiculous that we have to guess on which truck to pull behind to get fuel so that we aren't sitting there untill we can back up and move into another spot. It's unprofessional, discourteous, and just plain lazy.

I'm a bit curious as to what the increase in sheer number of trucks is, in say the last 15 years or so.
