You joke about the "hotdogs"...but that IS my guilty pleasure. However...I don't feel guilty if someone see's me dressing my 2 for $3.00 hotdogs with mustard, relish and salt. I don't feel guilty when I pay for the 2 for $3.00 hotdogs (every other day they COULD be free when using points earned from fuel purchases). And I darn sure don't feel guilty when I enjoy the savory goodness of the 2 for $3.00 hotdogs.

We ALL have to eat...therefore I am forced to spend SOME time in a truck stop (a necessity I very much despise)...so might as well make it as quick as possible by snagging a couple dogs, and getting back to my truck as fast as possible to enjoy the company of ME.

Unless I am there to grab a shower...I'll bet a dollar to a doughnut NOBODY can make a truck stop visit quicker than me. Love the kiosk to get my fuel recites....no lines.

Back when I drove i'd always eat a stake when I was in Texas. Otherwise I'd stock up on ranch flavored Corn Nuts from either Walmart or a truck stop.

There's so few places you can get a great steak with truck parking. There was one in Texas and I don't remember where but right off the highway and enough parking for maybe 10 trucks but not overnight. It was wicked good!

The coffee and hotdogs are not "free" just some chose to just not pay for their stuff, so they just stand there and eat the hotdogs, then fill their thermos and just leave, I can not do this as I need to be able to look at myself in the mirror, and not see a thief

I'd love to find a place with truck parking that has amazing barbecue.

    The fried burritos from Js.
Don't know why... other than those I prefer to cook all my own food and eat healthy, have a fridge, slow cooker, and a George Foreman. I weigh about 155 lbs... just can't resist those #### burritos sometimes. They have to be one of the unhealthier items in the hot box, too.
