I was at a Blue Beacon. (West OKC) the other day. I asked to get a wash on my Tractor, Trailer, engine wash and a washout.

First he had a smart ### comment that my truck was too clean to get it washed and it would be a waste of time to have it done. Then he asked "how dirty is the trailer?". I guess if a trailer is too dirty then they charge extra by the minute.

im not worried about extra cost but a trsiler wash isn't somethng I can debate about. Especially when I have to show a receipt for the wash.

Anyhoo if you go to the BlueBeacon at OKC west and the lil screwy looking dip-in-the- lip guy comes to take your order be prepared for an attitude

They should have treated you well.

You were spending a lot of money.

I bet the manager would not like the employees attitude. Especially seeing how much money you were spending.

For Washouts I usually tell them right away, 'It's not that dirty'
    Since it usually isn't

They will charge extra if it's really bad.
Had to pay a pretty penny one time after a load of Taters.
Well company paid it, but whatever.

I had the misfortune of hauling an egg product into Charlotte one day. I ended up with 800 pounds of "bad product" due to one box leaking onto 17 others. After numerous calls to soup kitchens, churches, or any other social groups normally willing to utilize the product - I ended up calling the one and only washout company in the area. Yes, they wanted the refused product, and also proceeded to charge me $160 to rinse a bit of egg yolk outta my wagon. I left with the assurance that all the crack ho's would be dining on quiche that night...

A truck washing job is not exactly high status. I am not writing this just to be a jerk, but you gotta figure most all of those guys are just a step away from being on welfare or in prison. Given the uneducated class that work in that kind of job, I think most of the time they treat me in a professional or at least reasonable way at Blue Beacons.
