I've heard drivers tell that Rt 15 in the Gettysburg area is haunted by fallen Civil War soldiers but have never seen anything myself..

Atlanta is the only place I've ever reached over and locked my driver door while I was driving.

I was in Panama ( Central America ) in a rental car at 2 am and stopped at an intersection red light and it was very dark. As I was sitting there a guy ran up to my car with something in his hand and started shooting window cleaner all over the windshield. I gave him a US one dollar bill and took off.
I was there working as a civilian for the military and when I arrived they gave me a city map with the bad areas and intersections circled in red. The whole map was covered with red circles , lol:biggrin_2555:

Seems like Detroit's a ghost town these days... just empty.

Know first hand there are places in SoCal you'd want to be prepared.

Drove from Key West back to the mainland and the fog rolled in, could barely see the guardrail.

Spent too much time in South Central LA, A gun would probably get you shot, I would sleep parked on the street there.

South Saint Louis back in the early 80s was scarey.

Alligator Alley (back when it was just a deserted 2-lane at night) AKA I-75 where it travels east and west from the south Florida coasts through the heart of the Everglades.....Grew up hunting and fishing the 'Glades, so was familiar with all the animals. But especially back in the CocaineCowboy days in the late 70's and early 80's, lots of people went missing out there....Bad, BAD juju.... :biggrin_25521:
