Most Cabelas have signs up saying no over-night parking from what I have seen. The only Cabelas that doesn't have signs is the one in Sidney, Nebraska and they have lots of parking.
No more Cabelas

Slightly off-topic here, but I don't know where else to post this!
Does anyone know of overnight parking in the west Chicago area? I just moved to Forest Park and hubby is having a difficult time finding somewhere to park for his 34/hometime.
I spoke to Walmart and they were helpful but said that they are bound by local laws, there is a local ordinance banning trucks from anywhere in Forest Park or Oak Park. And sure enough there are city signs outside both Walmart and Kmart lots, no semi parking.
(and yet the city leaders expect trucks to show up and deliver to their stores??)
Company yard is in south Chicago, about 20 miles from here and we don't have a car here so depend on either local parking or somewhere with a transit connection. There is no way he can get here from the company yard.
Anyone been in this area before who can help please?
(and sorry for hijacking your thread!) -
I frown upon any driver breaking/parking at any store parking lot he isn't delivering at. Just get your stuff and leave for the next guy to be able to shop, but no. I frequent Cabelas, love that place and will report low life's for trashing it.

I have taken 10s at the Cabelas in Post Falls, Idaho. They have that parking there with signs saying RVs can stay overnight and the spots are big enough for me. So I just ASSumed. The cabelas in Lacey, Wash has one no overnight parking sign, but I see RVs and trucks parked there all the time with the motors running and the windshield curtains drawn. I have never tested it myself, my company yard is 20 miles away and I'd rather park there and drive home for my ten then spend it at cabelas.

Cabelas Fort Mill, SC:
Bought some food in there it was great, Shopped around was very pleased. I drive tractor trailer and parking is provided but what I didn't know is that at 2200 hours security would come around To tell me I'm tresspassing And threaten to issue a ticket to my company I drive for. Great way to lose business and I'm going to return everything I bought tomorrow. 1st time ever I've Had a problem parking at Cabela's. You just lost my business and probably the business of my friends and family. -
