hilltop 3 mile north of i-40 on 540 2nd exit its a shell station... 6 bucks will get you 2, eggs anyway you like them....4, strips of thick crispy bacon and a load of hash browns and toast..

 

If you like steak. Exit 322 I 65 in falkville al.

 

I-77 in NC at the Mount Airy exit. First exit south of Virginia. The restaurant at the truck stop there is locally owned and all the vegetables on the buffet are southern style made from scratch! Best truckstop buffet on the road anywhere in America!

 

Johnsons Corner I 25 in CO best cinnamon rolls on the road

 

Yea and they sold out to the big corporate boys though, hopefully nothing will change

 

Exit 86, Peoples Republic of Oregon, Little Bit of Heaven, cinnamon buns and homemade apple butter.

 

Stopped at Dysarts in Bangor ME a few years ago and sampled their wonderful breakfast.
Something you rarely experience in any restaurant was home made ham for breakfast with the usual scrambled eggs etc. the ham was nice and thick, exquisite. At a reasonable cost.
Just a shame they didn't serve lobster at the time, for lunch so I had to bobtail into Bangor fir that.
One of the best TS meals I've had ever.

 

I81 in pa. Exit 100. Pine grove. Forgot the name of the diner there next to the pilot but great food & great prices.
