2 hours isn't long enough to get your Pr0n fix?

    Generally not enforced anyway.
I usually try to avoid rest areas anyway, I've seen the Wifi signs though.

I was on it for 2 hours and the moment I hit the 2 hours the wifi disconnected me and logged me out and said "you've used your 2 hour limit"

Thought you meant the rest area had 2 hr parking limit.
Might try MAC Add Spoofing to see if you can get 2 more hours.

But not enforced, I spend my 10 hr breaks at may of them, and had no problem.

    Be careful with free wifi.

Thieves can spoof the free spots, trick you into logging into it, and hack your data.

Obviously, this won't be a problem for most rest areas off highways (unless it's visited by many wealthy travelers). But more urban areas can be infested with these phony sites.

If you must use free wifi, just keep it to light browsing; NEVER go into any website that requires you to put in personal ID, passwords, banking info, etc. Save those for your paid data plan.

And a good anti-virus program wouldn't hurt either.

This is an old thread but the thread starter is naïve and a hog! Using free wifi for streaming is rude. Bad net manners, The op should step up and pay for his net usage instead of leaching off other people.
