Hood's is one of the last full service truck stops left around. They pump your fuel for you while you take care of your business in the store. Lot's of cow truck's go through there everyday & that is kind of a meeting spot for them. They have a good restaurant there also. I stopped there regularly when I was hauling feeder cattle out of Tn. to SW Kansas.

It's funny someone mentions this, I passed Greencastle on 81 last night and looked over at the truck wash and it was about 6 Bullhaulers parked over there.

Do you know why bull haulers wear button fly pants?

Because cows can hear a zipper a mile away....

Truck wash at Greencastle is right next door to stockyard. There are limits to how long you can have animals to truck without unloading for feed and water. You make your stops a minimal as possible, less stress on animal and they are losing weight while in transit. You park where available and try to find spots away from other trucks.
