not every walmart has parking in the back

thats what I was saying. I park and take up 20 spots thats 20 cars who can't park, therefore 20-40 people who can't shop

good for walmart for not banning trucks and allowing us to park. thanks walmart!

if I go to walmart weither in car or truck I usually park as far away from the door as I can. it has caused fights with ex-girlfriends when we go to walmart (and yes, i've had a few of those, i'm shocked too)

Most Walmarts have large parking lots. So large that they are never more than half full of 4 wheelers at any given moment. If you park at the far end of a row, and WITH the row so as not to block a travel lane, you will not be keeping 20-40 people from shopping at Walmart. That being said, I prefer parking at truckstops for the amenities, but on occasion have had to park at a Walmart for the night. When I do, I make it a point to call ahead for permission. When I arrive and park, I go inside to speak to the on-duty manager in person as well to confirm that permission. I have never had a problem, and have even been allowed to park in "no truck" Walmarts by doing this.

Walmart in Fergus Falls, MN is prime example of why I would surmise the days of parking @ Walmart are numbered. Cart rack in the truck parking area mashed, 2 dropped van trailers, and a company truck left there from Friday to Sunday. These were NOT freight to the store, but LAZY drivers working for LAZY companies that don't get setup properly for hometime. Currently an option to take a 10 if needed, but these abusers will have that gone in short order if this keeps up.

One of my favorite cities. Definitely on the short list to retire to.

The WalMarts here in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia are running Drivers off and have been for a few months. There have been some issues with the local Law Enforement folks being called - not a lot they can do (unless willing) due to the private property issue. The Walmart folks are saying the truck parking is hindering proper snow/ice removal from their lots as well as taking up to 60 parking spots away at times.

You have obviously never been to the Walmart in Bedford, TX off of Hwy 121. That place stays busy almost all the time.
