findlay ohio walmart doesnt allow truck parking but there is an old rec park beside it that you can park . been seeing a few walmarts putting up low clearance bars over entrances to keep trucks out , walmart supercenter in gordonsville virginia being one example.

I parked at the Gibsonton Florida Wal Mart a few weeks ago for a 10 with 6 to 8 other trucks in the side parking lot that appeared to be parked for the weekend and a few more coming and going. Doing some shopping was my reason for stopping there in the first place and I spent a little over $50 inside the store. It was the first time I had taken a 10 at a wal mart. I don't plan to do so again unless Im shopping. Just using them for a parking lot seems like a quick way to wear out a welcome.

A friend of mine said they are banning truck parking nationwide but I can't find any information about it yet.

Screw Walmart just for their support of vaccine passports. Then the self checkout nonsense. I shouldn’t have to do their job. Part of shopping is human interaction. Next their low wages. Then the subsidies they get to build Walmart’s from the government. Then the fact they destroy small businesses in every community they go into. Then the fact 80% of what is sold inside one is made in China. The fact they usually take 5 hours to unload a trailer. On and on. Plenty of reasons not to support Walmart.

Shop small businesses whenever you can. Don’t support these giant corporations. It’s not good for us long term and certainly not worth the little bit of savings.

Nobody is required to use the self checkout machines...they always have at least 1 human doing check-out, even when they use to be open 24/7. Low pay, for some people. But their health insurance is cheap. 2 of my wife's cousins have worked for Walmart for 15 years, their combined income is well into the 6 figure range, and they have enough in their 401k and company stock options they could retire well before the average worker. I shop Walmart every week(mostly groceries), especially the one's who's managers have designated truck parking spots. Hell, I make good money, but hate going to Kroger's or Publix, simply because if I spend the same amount at Walmart, I get a cart full instead of what I can carry in two hands.

I was in one yesterday in NC. There's 1 actual line open with about 5-6 people in line who probably refuse to use the self check out. The one cashier is the typical Walmart slow as molasses employee so I wasn't about to go through that ####.

I just wanted to gtfo of the place and only had 6-7 items so I go through the self checkout nonsense. At the end the machine says "Thank you for shopping at Walmart" and my reply was you mean, Thank you for working at Walmart.

    #### Walmart haven’t shopped or hauled their freight for over 20 years.
support my local mom and pop stores where I can. Rather pay more for good quality produce and meat from my local butcher and farmer type stores.

    Cowboyrich Thanks this.
