Spring for a motel. Parking comes with it. Take the valuables into the room with you and relax.

None of them are that special. The Medley Pilot has better food And coffee (if you like Latin food) than 595, but Medley is a less than desirable area. I'm not sure if they even have a shower, and would be scared to use it. The Pilot of Krome is an odd experience as well.

Pertaining to this thread, doesn't any one else find it odd that all of the major chains, Pilot/FJ, Love's, T/A, Petro, etc, are just about falling over each other to expand and are putting some new facilities in some fairly remote areas, but yet a market the size of Miami, doesn't really have one new, large company owned store?

Maybe they are afraid to pave the swamp and have trucks sink thru the parking lot?

you can be 44,000 pounds on a tandem in Florida, at least on the interstate. I don't think that's the case. Minneapolis and st. Paul, the whole state of Minnesota for that matter, is the same way, regarding having any decent size truck stops I mean

    hey Stan
you think it might be because 5 acres in Miami costs the same as 500 acres in Kansas :biggrin_25522:

No parking today, even if you wanted to. Clerk at fuel desk told me it is like that almost every weekend unless you reserve ahead of time.
