    I have to say goodbye to this T/S...locally owned and operated by a smaller trucking company nearby. Big parking lot, super clean showers and the like, good home cooking, gift shop, truck wash, comfy TV lounge with a fireplace and reclining chairs, and friendly staff who actually give a crap about the job they do...IMO top 10 of the non-mega truck stops in the US...
    I recently found out from the owners that it is changing into a Pilot/Flying J...True story.

    Of course it's a "true story". Pilot/J has a knack for taking over mom and pops, turning good truck stops into mediocre ones.

    Just walk into any mega truck stop. Same crap, different location. Life as a driver is becoming more like ground hog day, every day.
