My boyfriend and I are both drivers, he's been OTR, I'm more localized in Texas. We were having a discussion the other day about how nice it would be to have a truck friendly drive thru, but then turned into how nice it would be to have a quick, exit off the highway truck stop, where you can get a snack, go pee and get back on the road quickly. Somewhere between a rest area and a truck stop, where you order your food/snacks from your truck and have a 'truck hop' (like a sonic car hop) come over with your stuff and you're gone.

Are we the only ones who want this to be a thing? He says they have something like that in some places. But I know when I'm driving, sometimes I don't want to stop and deal with the traffic of a town or a big truck stop, especially when I'm trying to get back home.

Are we alone on this one? Haha.

How about a mobile unit , chicken truck with a kitchen in the trailer . . . Cb order, throw it in the window while you drive . . . ?

The food would definitely have to be good, I agree! Even if the menu was small, as long as it was good food I wouldn't mind.

I suck at fuel island slots, I always get behind the person that wants to do everything to their truck while sitting at the fuel island and then finally pull up but go back inside for the third time. Sometimes I get lucky and I'm able to back up and move to an empty one.

Stick the speakers up on the kansas toll road by Wichita & roller skate me my mcdouble.

    Indeed.

Is there peepee jug emptying services as well so I never had to get out of the cab ever?

I'm more interested in we fill up your truck & park it while you go inside truck stop to purchase food and crap. Full service stations.

Ta...you aren't full service...my place would be full service... I'd have mexicanas to give you back rubs while you stand in line paying for your tacos.
You wouldn't even have to walk...the sidewalk would be a moving one.

Does this sound like your conversation.

Why don't we throw in a pond to go fishing a gun range in a conway trailer & basketball hoop while we are at it.

Always liked stomping fat guys that can't jump at those couple places that had one.

Ya know, I'd actually be really impressed if anyone could manage to throw your food in through your window.

This already exists. They are called service plazas on toll roads found back east in Illinois,Indiana,Ohio,Pennsylvania,New jersey ETC...

Whats so hard about walking inside?

If your local then you should know all the good places to get food, sometimes you have to park and walk a little to get to it but it sure beats truckstop garbage.
