The Garden of Eden at the Oasis Travel Plaza in Eden, ID serves up a pretty good chicken fried steak that has to have its own plate.
Omar's Highway Chef at the Triple T is a good spot.double yellow Thanks this. -

Yeesh. I gotta get out more!

Clearwater Travel Plaza in MN, I94 exit 178 has pretty good food, a little overpriced for what you get. The pastries for sale are to die for, as well as the pizza and subs. Flinstones bar across the street and Keiths kettle all have great food, and within walking distance.
Eagleville Truck stop Eagleville, MO Pretty Good
Triple T in Tucson
Diner of I93 in whately, mass (just north of C & S in hatfield)
Leroy, IL. South side of interstate 74 has pretty good food.
Theres a little place in Jamestown, ND that is real good too. Cant remember what exit off hand -
Pine Cone Restaurant
either location
where you gain weight just looking at the bakeryloose_leafs Thanks this. -
there was or is an independent TS somewhere around the greater Minneapolis loop
that has a great restaurant
and old recliners and couches while i thought i was watching tv
but it has been 3 years and i havn't spotted it again...............sigh
I want more of their chicken and wild rice soup -
Truckers inn in Faribault used to be ok, now they are on their deathbed I think. Big Steer in Northfield is a rathole flying J now, I think the original restaurant might still be there.
The one in Inver Grove Heights (US 52 117th st exit by the Koch refinery) has been a Pilot for years. Stockmans is still there, suprisingly in South Saint Paul. Other than that I dont remember anything being on the 494/694 loopLast edited: Apr 12, 2015

I remember the West Wind Truck Stop in Green River, UT used to be a good place to eat. Dunno if that's still the case. Looks a bit run down now since it's under PJ's control.
