What are the safest and most dangerous truckstops??

all truckstop have there ups and downs i stay prayed up never had any problems at any truckstops

 

I always liked the truck stop in big cabin, ok, they have nice showers and plenty of places to park. I also like little america stops. and when on I-40 in New Mexico just west of Albuquerque I will usually always hit the Route 66 TS/Casino. There is always ample, easy parking there and I can leave Dallas/home in the morn and be there by the end of my day.

I didn't like the pride in springfield, mass or that ta in gary... had my window shattered and cb stolen while i was inside there. Most TS's in big cities suck imo.

 

one of the worsest truckstops i've been too is south of the border. My husband and i stopped there you got out of your truck and it smelled like piss or backed up sewage. went into the truckstop bathroom the toilet was black from filth. i walked in and walked right back out and hubby said that was quick i told him what it looked liked we went back to the truck got in and went on down the road to the next truckstop

 

Pilot in Denver co. U r right about Gary In and Walt Wittman the 150 in Ky is another one it is a s---- hole. The T stops in Dallas all of they are unsafe. Look at what happened to the snieder driver that didnt pay the girl her pimp shot him after he,the pimp, broke into the Schnieder lot.There is nothing safe just be aware of eveything . The tripple t in tuson az is another one .

 

honestly all truckstops in texas are kind of full of prostitution. and the crimes you speak of come from that...

But, you have to admit..Dallas is the only place i have ever been to that actually has to have a police officer stationed at every truckstop in the city 24/7.

Also, Dallas is the only place i have ever been to where you do not have to leave your company's terminal to get a lot lizard.

I guess they used to have a big problem with them inside the werner terminal in dallas...LOL LOL

 

I sat at the pilot in dallas( I think it was a pilot right across street from werner) and watched 2 or 3 lot lizards walk back and forth from the werner terminal and the pilot. Also watched the dallas pd roll through the parking lot and stop an talk to one of the gals then drive off. Dallas truckstops were the worst ones ive ever been at anywhere..

 

carls corner was bought out by willie nelson. he cleared the building and the lot and built a new building. looks like a saloon. foods good. they have a stage and bands play there.even willie plays there sometimes nice and quite place to get some sleep.i like the room that has his gold and platium records in there.

 

The T/A in Jessup,MD.is a crap hole my god i sat there for 4 hours and thank god i bought something they wanted 12 dollars for stiitting there that long,i will never go back there.

 

TA/Gary,IN.,FlyingJ/Gary,IN,Pilots/Dallas,Laredo,Houston,TX.TA/Ontario,CA.Pilot/Charlotte,NC.are just a few I would never go into at night.

 

My hubby totally agrees with these... funny is 3 of them are near his company yards
