Ya I am sorry he did not charge George Bush and Dick Cheny for war crimes. Ya am sorry that he did not push harder for public option of single payer on the health insurance bill. Ya I am sorry he keeps trying too work with Republican No sayers instead of going ghetto on their whitey butts.

The worst truck stops I have been to is the Circle K truckstop in Phoenix, AZ. The truck stop next to the TA in Albuquerque, NM-the back row. The Pilot in Memphis, TN. I thought the Pilot in Gary, IN was worst than the TA. Finally the TA in South Baltimore. I haven't driven out west in 10 years, so maybe those truck stops in Phoenix and Albuquerque has improved. It use to be crack dealers and lot lizards pounding on your door all night.

I thought the 1 ( flying J) in Redding CA on the I - 5 was a nice safe truck stop heaps of room and lots and lots of parking. Worst 1's i've been to was Flying J Las Vagas NV and Flying J Phoenix AZ closely followed by Flying J altona in Denver. apart from those i like flying J

Best place I ever stopped was Jake's Truck Stop in Bend, Oregon. Good food, huge portions. First time I stopped to fuel there I cleaned my windshield, after I was done an employee came out and told me I did a crappy job. He then got up on my steer tire with a razor blade and scraped off every bug remnant on my windshield.

Worst place had to have been the T/A in Jessup, MD.

TA Ontario, CA the worst of them so far. I've always preferred to climb up to Flying J in Frazier on I-5 than sit in this lizard nest. TA in Las Vegas, NV not a nice stay there neither. My friend got robbed there.

To find employees like that.......well it is like hitting the lottery as a business owner.

Just think, he still comes to mind when you think of the best.

Hey folks, I work with Sangar Cargo Security and they have high security trailer lots for drivers. I took the job becuase I am friends with drivers and folks that work in the cargo theft recovery field and I am tried of seeing crappy, unsafe truck stops being the only parking options. We just opened are new Dallas location and next is Atlanta then Fontana. If you are hauling those trailer's around you have a lot more options when it comes to food and lodging. They already have a good site in El Paso and West Memphis AK. Lemme know if you want more info and I'll send it your way. Let your fleet managers know too. They can set it up on your route and then you can rest at ease while your eating, sleeping and such. Dallas is a rough area for truckers, I'll keep y'all posted when new, better sites come up.
    - we will be at the Great American Trucking Show next week so if anyone is coming through Dallas, stop by and see me!! just ask for SangarGirl!!

I try to always go and tell the managers right away when I see you service at a stop. It makes all the difference. I was talking to a driver that is now in his 70's and he said that it used to be that drivers were the White Knights of the Road. That 4 wheelers respected them and that there was a time where drivers could actually stop on the side of the road and help a stranded motorist. Then they would be treated like gentleman when they pulled into a stop. Sounds like we need to return to that huh? Now you are lucky to help washing the windows.
