What are the safest and most dangerous truckstops??

Talula La the ta has the cleanest showers I have been in in a long time they were like the marriot and i had the chicken plate in the resteraunt and it was delicious I can't say enough about these folks this is by far the best ta I have ever stayed at. its on I 20. CLEAN I mean like your mamma cleans at least it was when I stayed there. which was about a month ago.

 

The worst is any t/s in Dallas or the coveted Truck and Travel T/A on I5 in Oregon. The T&T has some chicken in the case near the fuel desk that is of legal age to obtain a CDL. I almost forgot the T/A thats near John Boys yard in OK, I think its the west one. Its the one that says "chop house." I got food poisoning there. Actually considered going to the hospital it was so bad. Diahrrea and vomiting for two days.

 

Ive found most Petro's, with an example exception - San Antonio near H.E.Butt, to be really good. The showers are usually at least clean and the food and coffee is always good. There are some that are holes, like the one in San Antonio near H.E.Butt, but most are definately higher up on the food chain. ALSO Seven Feathers in Canyonville, also on I5 in Oregon, is very very good. FREE coffee. Excellent food, sweet heart of waitress's, and a shuttle to the casino if ur so inclined.

 

Big cabin in Oklahoma is definitely a good one.Lee Hi in Virginia just up from Whites definitely in my top five.Another,cant remember name off the top of my head.Its at the bottom of cabbage in Pendleton,Or.It has shuttle to the casino.Always love stopping there heading into Portland.Little America in Wyoming,good one.I try to avoid any T/A unless I dont have any other choice.Service usually sucks and have had to many bad experiences at them.So many that I couldnt even begin to list them all.

 

I'm not a big fan of the I95 corridor truckstops above Delaware, but my vote for worst is the Pilot in South Atlanta, GA, exit 58 or something...

I am generally partial to the Flying Js. I hear they are bringing the free drinks back sometime soon...

 

the TA in montgomery alabama one of the worst few years back guy gets robbed and shot getting fuel in the daytime

 

Yeah, they need to go in and carpet bomb that area and turn it back into farmland for a while.
