well from my experiance, the TA west and east in Ontario CA isnt what it used to be. Back in the day you couldnt find a parking spot after 5pm or 6pm now the lot is lucky to be half full anymore. Once they ran the girls off so did the business, like it or not its just the way it wil be. However they dont have the #### dogs anymore and security isnt dressed in riot gear anymore, less business has cause TA not to spend as much on secruitiy so everything will return soon just like a circle the girls will return slowly then the business will boom, some douche who only goes in there once complains then they bring secuirty back , and the band plays on. Key point people are going to do what they want to do, if you dont like it move on butif you stay dont #####!

What T/A in Washington D.C. does this driver speak of? is he referring to the one in South Baltimore/Jessup??

That place is a criminals empire there..I won't even consider going in that one. -
I run California way too much. Ontario west and east has changed. You don't see all the stuff you used to. I am not sure if all of you know the story. What happened was a couple of lot girls got into it and one killed the other. Also news crews were there to see what happens there after dark. That is allI have to say about that. It is a safe place to sleep now. I never get bugged anymore.

Yep, Howard County police (either on duty or off duty) in marked and unmarked cars rolling around the various parking lots. There are also now video cameras in the four wheeler lot. I have seen Maryland State Police troopers (the Waterloo barracks is just around the corner) go into the movie theatre and haul people away. Also, there are foot patrols by T/A employees and managers around the property. These employees along with a manager go into differnt areas at differnt times to throw people off.Last edited: Dec 1, 2011

There's a truckstop in Romeoville just off if I55 and I had terrible service at the restaurant. There was 3 people TOPS there besides me. The waitress came to my table and dropped off a menu and asked for a drink. When I decided what I wanted she dropped off my soda and I didn't see her for over half an hour. Finally I said in a VERY loud voice "#### THIS!" and refilled my own drink. Wouldn't you know it, as soon as I got back to my table she appeared and asked if I needed help. I glared at her and shook my head.
Needless to say I didn't leave a tip.
Also, the T/A in Gary, IN might be sketchy as hell but there's an awesome cheesesteak place right across the street to the north (It's called Philly Cheesesteaks & Lemonade) that's open until at least 2 am all week long. Their lemonade is excellent. It's basically a slushie with lemonade and your choice of like 10-15 flavors (I always got the Cherry). They got a deal for a massive cheesesteak (a foot long and at least 4 inches tall FILLED with meat), fries and a lemonade for about $9.50. I usually can't finish it all at one sitting. I usually end up picking at the last quarter or so.
