Hey everybody. I've been hotshotting here in south louisiana for a little over a year and have decided to go back to school. I put a driver in the truck in the beginning of the summer, and he's doing great, but I would rather just sell everything outright so I can put all of my attention to the books, exams, etc.

So here's the info copied directly from my craigslist post
I currently have a minifloat leased to Acme at terminal 076, "Lafayette East" here in Broussard that I'd like to sell. It's currently on the road making money, and the driver behind the wheel loves to run long and hard. He's an older gentleman who has been driving his whole life and just loves being on the road. He is currently the #1 minifloat driver at the terminal in terms of revenue and would love to stay in the truck. With him behind the wheel, this rig has made me some great money, and has done a good job of paying my bills without fail. He has a business account set up with O'Reilly's to get parts REALLY cheap, and he performs over the road maintenance without too much griping or moaning. He has a friend who is a mechanic who is another invaluable resource. They are both quick to spot problems and have diagnosed, if not fixed, numerous small issues that have come up on the truck before they have become big problems.

I am selling because I am returning to school and will have to focus my undivided attention with the textbooks, exams, etc. The weekly cash flow is great, however when things come up, they have to be handled immediately. I just do not want to have that worry in the back of my mind while I'm in school. I have gotten what I wanted from this business, and am ready to pass it on to another owner. This is a great turnkey investment for anyone and, if the current driver is kept onboard, it will be generating weekly checks immediately after taking ownership.

The truck is a 2012 Ram 4500 CrewCab with 36" sleeper. It just ticked over 136,000 miles (which is just broken in for these rigs). The trailer is a 2013 PJ 40' flatbed trailer. It has a full toolbox in front, LED lights all around with enclosed wiring, and all equipment currently onboard (chains, binders, pipe stakes, etc). The terminal manager at #076, Robert Dubose, can vouch for the maintenance; it gets professionally serviced at every interval and I have receipts to back that up all the way back to my purchase when it had just 5,000 miles on it. The truck has also just received 6 brand new commercial grade Firestone tires, good for 100,000miles. This past July, the trailer received 8 brand new G-rated tires; great for oil field roads, with extra thick sidewalls so they won't pop off the rim.

Also included is all the extra equipment I have here at the house.

    (10) premium 2-stage oil filters - Baldwin 7317
    (3) gallons of Valvoline Premium Blue diesel oil
    (1) new wheel hub with brakes for the trailer
    (2) professional heavy duty cargo tarps. 1: 16'x20' & 1: 16'x27' with flaps, used maybe 10 times.

Feel free to give me a call if you have any questions, or give Robert a call at Acme Terminal #076. I have told him to feel free to give out any info regarding the truck or the driver.
(Here's the website. I don't want to list a straight phone number since spammers troll craigslist all the time.)

As for price, I have a number in my head, but I'm also curious what some serious offers are. Some people that I've talked to have said that my number is too low, while others have said that it's way too high. Let me know what you're thinking.

    Thanks,
    Matt
