LASIK disqualification?

    add the FMCSA Medical Review Board to the list of places to file a complaint...... while they do not have a formal complaint process they also should know

    I belieive when I looked into lasik, I was told that having both eyes done for distance was ok for cdl holders, but there was a procedure where one eye can be done for distance & the the other for reading if you need glasses for reading also, after a few days you would not really notice that it was done like this, but I was told that was not a option for a CDL holder...

    Just wondering how it went , did you get your license. I need Lasix also for my left eye it's 20/50 w glasses

    Could be the state you're in... some states (like Wisconsin when it applied to me) did not issue waivers of any kind. But this seems really silly for the doctor to do this. Its not their job, their job is to make sure the applicant meets the federal criteria to hold a drive. The states can do whatever they want
