I had a 15+ violation in my car last year. I just recieved another today on my motorcycle. ok ok I made a mistake...but lets search further here with my question...
If these were in a CMV then my cdl license is gone for 60 days. However after reading the disqualification chart Im confused...
So after reading this...am I only disqualified if the conviction results in the revocation, cancellation, or suspension of the CDL holder's license or non-CMV driving privileges ???
If I read this right I should be safe since they were both in my non-cmv??
Im obviously worried right now....
And for the people that want to just slam me...I know I screwed up...let's move forward with the advice/answers to this?
Any help is appreciated...THANKS!
2nd 15+ speeding ticket question...

You are correct about the tickets and in a CMV.
However, they no longer look at them separate under the rules. Especially for hiring. Been this way since 2005.
In other words, they will affect your job now.Diesel Dave Thanks this. -
should only be an issue if your trying to go get a new job . as a cdl driver you are the experienced driver and should set an example. (thats how most states see it) insurance company is looking at it saying hey if he does it in his personal veichle, whats stopping him from doing it in a CMV. hes a risk!

Insurance companies basically run the companies and it could affect the job. Hopefully not. -

If your state suspends your drivers lic for tickets or what ever that you got in your car, then you no longer hold a CDL. But if you get a ticket while driving a CMV say in Ky for 15 over then a few months later you get another 15 over in Ny, your CDL will be suspended for 60 days but you will still have a operators lics to driver a car.

I guess I should have been even more specific....
I have a job currently and have been driving CMVs for years. Both tickets were in my personal vehicles. Im not trying to get another job, I was just concerned if I could lose my CDL over this. I am planning to talk to the prosecuter(if he will) first thing monday. And if no luck with that, definitely seek a lawyer. -
