They have to search your truck to find it, in 20+years I have never had either (except .mil)

| You also know - Only certain states allow you to carry a concealed weapon in your vehicle.

You need to check reciprocity for the state which issued your Concealed Permit, My state allows 30 + states

| You also probably know - Many trucking terminals also do not allow firearms on their facilities, and as far as I know, if you are a truck driver, you are probably going to have to drive on to these premises on occasion.

Concealed is concealed. Sometimes it is tough to balance your 2nd Amendment rights VS. the right to work. You may be fired for carrying on their property. This is a personal decision. IF you ever get "made" on property that is NOT .gov, and you refuse to leave, this is where the trouble starts. A possible misdemeanor trespassing charge will be made.

| And you definitely know - If you have to go into Canada, there is absolutely no law in the United States that is going to make it legal to take that gun across the border.

True! Stay out of Canuck Libville, If I have to leave this country driving a truck, to make a living ... well the rate is going very high

I have sit through orientations at driving companies before where some knucklehead wants attention and feels he needs to ask these questions, and without saying guns are not allowed in your truck, the company rep points out these above things.

There is a window licker in every bunch. I would bet he doesn't even know what a CHL/CCW is LOL

Something else that would be a good idea to think about. If you do carry a gun, or any other sort of weapon on your truck, it is not a good idea to announce it on a public message board. One thing I do know is that this information can be requested in a court case for the purpose of tracking IP addresses and other personal information.

I carry I carry I carry!!!
I have 4 guns in my truck
I shoot prarrie dogs when I see them (with the land owners perm).
I have no plans on commiting a crime with my firearms, so I don't care if they chase my IP addy. THis is one of the problems in dealing with things that go boom. Guns are tools, they cannot operate themselves.

| So - the bottom line is "Dont Do It", but if you do, "don't talk about it". |
Talk about it if you will (online anyways), just don't let people around you truck know what or how many you have if at all. some idiot might bust a window and get them.
