How would the officer know if I have a gun in my vehicle just from running my license?

I am sure as in TX, NC does this:
When you aquire your Concealed Permit, they tie it to you DL, and your plates.
Now as for a TX DPS having that info on my comapny vehicle, or even my iprivate vehicle ( I am from NC) I dont think that is accessible to other than NC.
Now TX honors my permit, I get pullled over in my comapny rig, I hand him/her my DL, concealed permit, and whatever they ask for after that. I inform the DPS I have it on my person, in the vehicle, or neither.
I do NOT have to surrender my sidearm, and under "Normal" circumstances I will not give it up.
I have only been pulled over once since I got my permit (have had it for 6 years), and low and behold it was in TX. I handed him my stuff, told him it was in the SOB ( small of Back) and kept my hands on the wheel.
He "pfffftttt" I dont need that, here have it back"

Now my question is this:
I get pulled over in...lets say AZ, (my permit is good here too) by a DOT, at a chicken house. I cannot carry in a Federal ( state or local) building.
When I give all my stuff to the officer, do I hand him my permit?
What about if he is just standing out checking logs?
What if they just want to see my permit book?
I have wondered this for a long time, and dont dare to run into the scales and ask

You are required to disclose that information to the officer if you have a license. If you don't, and a gun is found, plan on losing the license if the officer wants to pursue the issue.

smart move, LOL.. The less they know, the better.

My point was that running my DL won't let an officer know if I have a gun in my truck. All it will do is let the officer know if I'm licensed to carry. If I don't have my gun with me then I don't have to inform anyone that I'm licensed to carry.

In Texas I don't have to have a carry conceal license to have a gun in my truck. But if I do and I'm pulled over, it would be a good idea to let the officer know. To not inform the officer would be asking for serious trouble if it the gun were found.

99.9% of truck drivers can't be trusted to brush their tooth, how does anybody expect them to responsibly carry a loaded firearm?

thats about the stupidest statement I've heard in awhile.

you have no idea of the training and background checks that individuals must go through to get a concealed weapon permit.

classroom, range time, state level and FBI backgrounds.

You must think someone can just go down, buy gun and put it in their pocket.

the ccw process weeds out those that "cant be trusted to brush their tooth"

Are there any statistics on how many CMV operators are arrested/fined each year for transporting/carrying firearms in the vehicle for whatever reason?

Question I always have is every company that I know of has a no firearm policy. Not to mention all the countless places I delivered to that had signs no firearms beyond this gate. Or what if you deliver to a prison or military installation?
