How about just putting the 'oldie but goodie 'sticker on the driver's side window saying: "This premises protected by Smith & Wesson." LOL

Because then the stoopid crack-head will break in trying to steal the gun. Better to give no warning, or invitation. Just do the deed and drive away.

Unless you drive for Loomis-Fargo, or, a very independent owner-operator, I don't believe you'll ever find a company that endorses armed drivers.

With that said, very few companies, with the exception of the biggies, will address the subject in their policies unless they are backed into a corner. They are aware that we have to work in some very unfriendly and dangerous environments. They don't want to go on record denying us the right to protect ourselves, nor do they want to trample our 2nd Amendment rights. They have the government to do that for them.

If you feel compelled to carry, keep it low keyed (no hand cannons), tightly secured (in your pocket), and be keenly aware of the rules of engagement (life or death, and no warning).

Don't rub the weapon under the bosses nose and they won't be backed into a corner where action must be taken.

Firearms N The Road

This is from an old 1st Sgt in the infantry.
If you have never shot someone and watched them die, don’t even think about it. It's never a good experiene.
I think as high as 20 percent of people who have had this experience have been adversely affected as they thought about it over a period of time. This includes those that are the toughest and most macho and who even brag about it early on. I knew a couple of guys who were proud of their experience, then after leaving the Army it seemed to come back and hit them between the eyes like a ton of bricks. One became a drunk and one later became depressed and committed suicide. They weren’t the only ones I know, just the first two that came to my mind.
My advice: don’t even think about carrying a gun! The act may destroy your life.
