I have a medical device that requires power. My company has an exemption in their idling rules to allow me to idle for this purpose. They also tie the quarterly bonus to idling as well as 3 other areas.

So in thoery a driver CAN idle as much as he wants. At a certain point he'll be having a little chat with office staff.
