I'm an owner operator doing intermodal work for jb hunt. I received 2 citations today. No 2014 ifta sticker
and expired registration. Jb is supposed to send them to us by mail. Never recieed them. JB pays all of the cost for plates and registration. I thought they would be monitoring the situation. And at least give m a heads up! They made it clear it's not they're problem. Was cited in Pa. Anybody have some advice?
IFTA was $202. Expired registration $3488.00 OUCH!
Citation for ifta!

Ck. permits every day to keep this from happening again, may have to bring new reg. to court.
70s_driver Thanks this. -
18-years in truckin', and you don't know that you can't go down the road with expired paperwork?
-
no one said a word on the trailers. -
My advice is to reconsider your choice to operate illegally. Your truck is your responsibility.
-
Let me look that up in the regs. Nope; nothing in there about it being ok to not be in compliance if no one says anything to you about it or because you got away with something before. -
My trailer plate is permanent,Tractor plate has renewed the same time forever, personal ride, have been known to be a few month's late
