    I am a little confused,,a friend who has 4 trucks had a driver charged in Connecticut about a month ago for "Driver uses or is in possession of drugs"

    The driver was given a ticket and let go..Don't know what kind of drug, maybe pot.

    I thought that a conviction of this a driver would loose his CDL for at least one year. I do not see any Federal Regs on this,,I thought that it was a violation that automatically required a CDL disqualification,

    MS. will give the same tic. for med. in bottle with drivers name on it that they dont like even if driver has note from doc. saying ok to drive.

    Well when they let him go he has not been "convicted" YET .he may well lose his license ,
