A year or two ago I got a ticket California for a bad tire and a very small applied air leak that I would never have found by myself even with the engine off in the window down . As it turns out they listed it as unsafe operation even though they said they withdrew the charge if I got it fixed. I got it fixed and had it inspected by the same inspector. She said that she would rewrite it as a good inspection. Turns out that she lied and now I have this charge on my record it is not even accurate as to what the violation actually was. This is going to make it hard later down the road if I look for another company. I have googled this violation and results do not show it what this charge is. I called the court that the charge came from and the clerk. Answer the phone has no idea what the charge was and the safety people with my company don't either and neither does the DPS. This does not make sense. How can they give you a violation when neither safety nor law enforcement of my home state nor easy convicting state does it know what the charge is for? Or even what it means?

As an FYI discharge is not related to unsafe driving. From what I do know this is an entirely separate charge from unsafe driving or reckless driving.

They don't offer fixed or corrected inspections.
violations come with codes. Google the code for cali.
I picked up a bolt at n the cali state line when I stopped to double check before rolling through truckee. 13 miles to the scale and tire was half flat. OOS. my company wanted a clean inspection. truckee just reprinted and handed to me. WITH OUT signature. -
I googled both the code and the charge it didn't show anything

What were the California Vehicle Code and/or Title 13 CCR sections on the citation?

I'd have to find it. I can't remember too of my head

What "record" are you talking about? What does your MVR say? If this is on your CSA Points record I wouldn't worry about it. Almost every driver has CSA points and it sounds to me like you were not put out of service correct? As long as you were not put out of service and it only shows up as CSA points I wouldn't worry about it because; you will almost never get CSA points taken off your record.

Also points are a big thing now. Not only do they count against you they count against your company as well. If it was just on my MVR I would not worry about it.
