    i recieved an overweight ticket on 58 in suffolk va....559.00 .....4,100 over on tandems good thing for me they made it out to my company :) lady told me she was gonna be nice to me because i did'nt load the truck...that was perfectly fine with me

    I got pulled into a scale my weight totaled 73000 my grose weight was 80000 they gave me a ticket said that i was 15000 over

    It's not their job to know your route, what permits you may have, etc...
    Too many variables for a counter jocky to know. Not only is there different weights for each states routes, there are weights based on number of axles and even axle spacing. Then there is weights based on time of year (frost laws)

    They are just certifying that the ticket is generated at that location.

    If it is a cat ticket, and it is wrong, then Cat will get involved with your ticket.
