Dac Report policy ? Does a company have to tell you what they found on your dac report ? I recently applied to Givens out of Va and was told not eligable due to dac report findings. Besides beeing very rude about the whole thing he refused to tell me what the problem was. This was my first application with a company for a trucking job (didnt go well) I dont have any felonies, dui or any of the disculification items the advertise for prehire? Any advise is greatly appreciated, thanks.

dac report info Thanks for the info, OOIDA, I found also states you have the right to credit info or employment records if denied employment.. Thanks again.

Anyone know if DAC has to comply exactly like the Credit Reporting Agencies do? In other words,..7 years is the longest bad (negative) info can stay on your DAC,and in some cases maybe 10 years like a bankruptcy , or does it never go away? I searched and couldnt locate the specifics of that. And of course USIS website didnt volunteer that bit of info either. Anybody know,..Im curious,..I did mail off to receive my free copy of my DAC a week or so ago, just to have on file for me. Mine is clear to my knowledge, but it pays to be prepared.
