USA Trucking Contracts help/Advice needed!!

Hi All,

i really need advice with regards to getting contracts. i own two 2004 freightliner Columbia trucks and 1999 Strict 53' by 102 Dry Van trailers!! i have been hauling under a Dispatcher who gets loads from the Load board( truckstop, getloaded etc). It has become very difficult to break even now as compared to the previous years..im now considering getting contracts/dedicated routes for my trucks. from what i have gathered from other threads they are contracts from Fedex ground,UPS etc!!
Anyone with info on how to go about this and also what to avoid!!

Thank you

Talking load boards

now i have no idea why you would let anyone get your loads from a load boards when you can do that your self and im sure whoever it is is charging you a fee for doing the same thing you can do yourself and put the fee in your pocket.
as far as getting your own contacts well ther are [plenty of them out ther but you have to look and sell yourself make them think you are better then whoever is doing it now it mite take you a little whle but you can do it and try not to use the phone a face to face is much better.
good luck my friend.-----southernpride
