I deliver to a lot of Walmarts each day. When I pull up to the TLE often times the guys working there will be walking out to my truck even before I can get out of the cab to get me unloaded.

Today though was a bit different. After unloading I was told that a manager was needed to sign the bills after verifying the count. The girl at the counter called for one to come to the TLE right when I got there but they never responded.

Usually I am supposed to call my dispatcher if walmart is being slow, but all I needed was a simple signature so instead I walked into the back section where all the employees and managers are hidden. First person I see I ask where I can find a manager to sign off my tire delivery and am pointed down the hall to this important looking middle aged blond woman sitting behind a glass window. The poor girl that led me to her says in a nervous and scared voice, "Ma'am this person delivered our tires and needs someone to sign his papers".

Then the angry manager says, "What? I cannot hear you!"

The young girl tries to say something again but I walk up to the window and put the bills on the counter and politely ask her to sign them so I can leave.

Now she gets really angry. "Who let you in here?" She looks offended.

"Lady I will let myself out as soon as you sign here." I tell her.

She does not want to sign my bills. "Who let you back here? Is there no one in automotive? We got the doors open so I know there has to be someone back there."

For some reason I kind of enjoy arguing with these type of people. "We already unloaded the tires, now all I need is you to sign, there was no manager there so that is why I came here to you"

Now she comes from out of the room all agitated looking. "We got Procedures to follow here. Ughh! We cannot sign anything until we count and verify!" She starts walking out towards the TLE and I follow after her. The whole time she goes on about procedures and how I am not allowed back there.

When we get there one of the auto guys that helped me unload looks at her and says to me, "Out of all the worthless manger's we got in this store you had to go and pick That One??"

She is angry the whole time while she scans and looks over every single tire. Even though the process delayed me over 30 minutes I enjoyed being able to frustrate her. My wife says there is something wrong with me in taking pleasure in stuff like that.

Personally when I did dedicated I avoided arguing with frustrated customers as I would be there the next week and some have long memories ... A small win today could mean future issues with certain personalities

Back in the soda delivering days, the van drivers get paid hourly. So everytime a receiver yell at the driver, he would count each single flavor, talk as slow as he can, physically point and touch the flavor and made sure the receiver understand it's there. Then purposely screw up the count and restart all over. Oh and yes we were union

Warehouse we used to deliver to, the woman manager was a total diva, her assistant, a flamboyantly gay gentleman was also a total diva. They were both rude as hell, and we would be rude back. They got tired of it and kicked us out, every company that took over that account had problems with them. Few month back we got them back, it's been 6 years, first time I walked in, she didn't recognize me, but I did her. They both have signs above their desks saying they are Diva's. It is now our great pleasure to annoy the hell out of both of them, usually we talk really really slow, or enunciate things more than we should.
