    i worked as a lease op for about a month. i made less than 15,000. Do i need to file a tax return for this amount? and if i do can anyone tell me around about how much i would have to pay if any at all? also can i efile or would it be better to go to h&r block jackson hewitt etc...thank you!

    'Yes' to filing taxes.

    If you have to ask if you have to file, I would say to don't have the knowledge you need to do it yourself. Find somebody familiar with trucking taxes since you were a lease operator, otherwise you run the risk of somebody not finding all your deductions for business expenses.

    Is that the only income you had for the year? All your income, 1099 and W-2 will be filed on the same return. Do as Five-0 says and find someone familiar with trucking taxes do do your taxes.
